Summer Recap

We had a pretty early start to our summer this year with a trip to San Francisco. Although not very warm, it was definitely a nice, relaxing vacation.
We made a few trips to Boise for various family events. Most of our time there was spent playing with the cats (to Mitch's chagrin) and doing "household projects" aka Mitch doing yard work with my dad and me talking or running errands with my mom nonstop. We also got to see my first little nephew and hang out with my married brother and his wife.

Mitch was on a softball league this summer, playing against law firm teams. As always, it was fun for me mostly because of the other law school wives who came. Unfortunately this is the only picture I ever got to document it. Mitch is practicing his swing (or whatever you call it in baseball terms) before the game starts.

We went on a few small hikes this summer. The smallest of them all at .3 miles up to the Rocky Mouth waterfall. Just me, Mitch and Mitch's sister Ali made the trek on this one. We also "biked" to Gemini bridges while we were in Moab. That was even more enjoyable with Henley along for the adventure.

We've found a wonderful group of friends with Mitch's law school buddies and their wives. We basically have 3 activities. Eating, talking/crafting for the girls and playing sports for the boys. We all took a lovely trip down to St. George where the girls substituted crafting with swimming and sunbathing. The only downside is that we forgot to take any pictures! But here's one of almost all of us (we're missing one couple). Such a fun group!
Recent Update: We now have 2 babies on the way in our group! So excited for our little families!
